Alkantara walking: Mojo Alkantara and lunch
The Alkantara river is the longest river of Sicily, from the Nebrodi mountains to the Jonian sea. Its lava is separate and different from the Mount Etna one more basaltic and of a silver color. It is here the Greeks had their headquarters to navigate up to inner Sicily. During summer it is possible to dive and get refreshed from the Sicilian hot. We will walk to the easy top of one of its craters, Monte Mojo, from where to enjoy the typical landscape of the Alkantara valley. Then a walk along its bed to get ready for lunch, a tasteful experience with selected food paired with Etna wines.
