
POZZILLO LEMON HOUSE & FARM
The ideal place for a very authentic farm experience in a Sicilian family property since 1911. We have been growing and trading lemons and producing seasonal veggies with passion and love for tradition, organic, including biodynamics.
We are located in Pozzillo, Acireale, at the foot of Mount Etna: 10 minutes from the autostrada A18 exit: Giarre (coming from Taormina) or Acireale (coming from Catania/Siracusa).
The property was bought by my grandfather in 1911. They used to grow grapes, then lemons since 1930s. Then it was enlarged and restored in the last 20 years by my parents. Our lemons are Etna lemons because they get the minerality from Mount Etna and the Jonian sea.
The experience we share includes a welcome drink (fresh season fruit juices), a guided visit of the farm, both of the flower garden and the vegetable garden as well the lemon groves, with explanations at different levels, from the soil to the molecular content.
We have several flower and tree varieties: orange and mandarin trees, cider, grapefruits, avocados, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, persimmons, the Brazilian cherry tree, etc….

We cook together with my mother or other cooks and/or chefs.
We offer from-farm-to-table food experiences – breakfast/lunch/brunch/dinner – serving fresh season vegetables, flower recipes, and traditional Sicilian dishes vegetarian, meat or fish.
After or before the visit and food exp we can also walk to the harbour of Pozzillo.
Private parties up to 50 guests can be host, ask for photo albums and options.
We served with Mount Etna wines and fresh juice drinks.
